Boat Builders


The Cheetahs Reading Group read the story "The Boat" and decided to have a go at making their own. The boys created a sail and motor boat out of all sorts of recyclables. Sophie made a boat with a very small sail. We are still to test them to see if they float. Do you think they will?

    I like all your different ideas.

    I think the plastic might help your boat float Sophie. What a big sail you made boys - that would go fast in the wind!
